Connected Garden - Potted tins

Come along on Wednesday 24th February from 3.45pm to 5pm

Join us for Tin Can painting and plant potting. Parents can stay and play too! Donations of tins, ’plant çuttings’ and succulents can be dropped off at the centre beforehand. Meeting at the Skate Park, everyone is welcome to enjoy this blossomingcommunity event. Already the first 3 Planter Boxes are in full bloom.Families are welcome to help paint tins and pot succulents and herbs that will become our first art installation in the connected gaden space.

A fun family activity followed by a free sausage sizzle- skaters and friends welcome to join in when they arrive from the school bus

Thank you for the donation of potting mix for this project from Rattray and Walker and for a planter box from Jennings Garden supply

Have you noticed the new sign board sponsored by Briggs& Shaw real estate- watch this space as a talented young skater is currenlty working on more photos to complete this project - thanks Casey Scott you are a champion.

Poles - no it's not free firewood! - thank you to Liam Kelly from Hands on Learning who has donated some beautiful tree trunks from Main Ridge that will become another art installation for the space. Liam is working on the project at the Rosebud Secondary College - have you seen the old wrought iron sign at the front of the school?

We are so lucky to be involled in the beginnings of a space that will grow into the future and connect our spaces on the David MacFarlan Reserve
