Blooming partnerships with the Blairgowrie Community Garden

I encourage local garden enthusiasts to join Anne van Veen, Shayne Walsh and Tony Weir on the journey to establishing a community garden in Blairgwowrie

The SCC Board has agreed to auspice and support the Blairgowrie Community Garden project.

The project aligns with the Neighbourhood House Coordination Program that supports community development locally. Ideas raised by the community with worthwhile and sustainable potential that have longstanding benefits are ideal community partnerships.

We are awaiting council's decsion in March re the future site of the community garden

Facebook post

Hi fellow gardeners........ Days are hot☀️so make sure you water early morning before 8am. If plants showing stress on a hot day, water evening too.

We are awaiting Council to approve our application- am told it will now be mid March- so patience now, but time to plan our future. We will get together in a few weeks to start serious planning of our garden structure.

We need to break into groups to focus on various areas. Please consider what you would prefer to assist with: Fundraising, Construction, Raw Materials or Membership.

Keep talking with you friends about our garden and hopefully we can attract more future members.
